We just came back from a short trip to Santa Marta, and we really enjoyed our time there. Sam and I met with our business partner Leo, who is helping Expats who want to relocate to Santa Marta. We even got the chance to meet a client whom we referred to Leo after a long time just texting with him.
It was a great and inspiring trip. We started calling Santa Marta the hidden Gem because usually, everyone talks about how beautiful Cartagena is but have never been to Santa Marta.
Santa Marta is way quieter and laid back, you see fewer tourists and the Cost Of Living is a lot lower compared to Cartagena and even compared to Medellin. That, and Santa Marta has a lot to offer, like beautiful beaches, the Tayrona Park, Ciudad Perdida a nice historical city center and much more.
